Welcome to the official website for the West Loop / South Growth Area Study
—a collaborative planning effort led by the Springfield-Sangamon County Regional Planning Commission.
This study will explore how Sangamon County can grow sustainably, support new development, and improve infrastructure. Through public input, data analysis, and scenario planning, the study will help shape a shared vision for the future growth of our region.
